PI. 11/05-6/07; UNC Charlotte Faculty Research Grant: Study on Contraceptive Knowledge in Students
This study aims to determine demographic, lifestyle, and behavioral characteristics related to both contraceptive use and non-use among a group of sexually active women using a web-based survey design.
PI. 6/04-5/05; Sigma Delta Epsilon/Graduate Women in Science: Contraceptive History, Initiation, and Choice Study
This study investigated demographic and lifestyle characteristics associated with contraceptive use and discontinuation using a survey design. In addition, oral contraceptive users participated in a longitudinal study to determine whether body mass index was associated with adherence to an oral contraceptive regimen or frequency of sexual intercourse.
